Cal Raleigh needs no introduction, but if you don’t recognize his name just know that he’s a big deal in professional baseball. Leading the league in home runs, his 2025 MLB season was historic and to add to a great season, he signed with Washington Trust Bank (WTB). Our opportunity with the audience was to make them feel something positive, more human and more memorable about WTB.

We were tasked with creating an omnichannel campaign featuring WTB’s newest spokesperson, Cal Raleigh. The primary focus was to build brand affinity, helping to drive successful business lines.

By trading standard athlete endorsements for genuine human humor, the campaign resonated massively across every digital channel. In the first 90 days, the creative racked up 40.5 million combined impressions, with a 44% video completion rate that far surpassed industry benchmarks. Fans didn't just watch—they interacted, driving 172,000 engagements across Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Display, while paid media seamlessly converted that attention into 17,894 website visitors. Ultimately, the partnership succeeded in making Washington Trust Bank feel both human and unforgettable.

To launch the partnership with Cal Raleigh, WTB didn’t just sign an athlete. They gave him a job: Home Run Officer. By giving Cal an actual role within the bank, the campaign earns its authenticity. He's not standing in front of a logo. He's at work, doing what he does. Helping his team.
Tapping into his fame as a record-setting, home run-hitting leader of the Mariners, we made sure his batting power benefited his coworkers at WTB. Supported by an integrated media approach, this allowed us to focus on the teamwork approach found at WTB because when a bank works well as a team, they work well for you.

Let's create something unforgettable.
