BACK TO WORK

Helping first-time homebuyers make homeownership a reality.

Idaho Housing and Finance Association (Idaho Housing) wants to help more Idahoans buy their first home at an affordable price, but many potential buyers don’t know what they offer. Others aren’t sure what they can realistically afford or don’t realize they could qualify for Idaho Housing’s special below market rate program. On top of that, the mortgage process often feels overwhelming, with confusing paperwork, credit checks and financial scrutiny, which can make homeownership seem out of reach.

THE ASK

For many first-time homebuyers, figuring out the right path can feel overwhelming when there’s so much conflicting information. Idaho Housing wanted to change that by raising awareness of its below market rate program and clearing up common myths, including the idea that you need a 20% down payment to buy a home. Through Idaho Housing’s down payment assistance program, buyers can get the help they need to move forward with confidence.

"Working with the team at Duft & Watterson was a seamless and rewarding experience. Their creative professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication made a real difference and helped us achieve great results from this campaign."

- Chuck, Executive VP of Lending

What we did

Our campaign showed that homeownership and home loans don’t have to be scary. Idaho Housing helps first-time homebuyers in Idaho move past fears of high interest rates and large down payments by offering lower rates and down payment assistance. We made sure homebuyers knew homeownership was much easier than they thought.
