humanizing healthcare marketing

increase brand affinity,
patient visits,
thought leadership and
attract talent.

When we think about healthcare, we think about people. When we choose to look beyond the process of care, we begin to see the interactions that make healthcare an expression of humanity. The healthcare marketing campaigns we at Duft Watterson create demonstrate authenticity, unique insights and meaningful engagement in ways that highlight care as open, authentic, even aspirational.

Geisinger

Geisinger is known for its innovative approach to healthcare. So, when they asked us to help them reimagine their brand advertising, it was no surprise that they liked the idea of creating a campaign that didn’t feature smiling doctors or technology. After all, that’s what their competitors did. Several research tours and collaborative sessions later, we realized that celebrating life’s small, but powerful, moments –enabled by health– resonated with audiences more than robotic surgery and people wearing stethoscopes.

We did this in brand advertising under the banner of “Long live everyone.” We also supported their service lines with targeted campaigns, created the brand identity, marketing strategies and assets for an innovative new service called 65 Forward, and designed the entire suite of materials for partnership activation with the NY Yankee’s farm team, the Scranton Railriders.

“Very pleased to see that our healthcare system image has risen year over year. Our work with Duft Watterson is bearing fruit. ”

VP System Marketing, Geisinger

Saint Alphonsus

Saint Alphonsus is a well-known healthcare provider throughout the west coast, and one of the largest healthcare systems in the mountain west. So, when they needed helping raising awareness and funds for, their Festival of Trees holiday event–the largest holiday event in the region–they came to Duft Watterson.

After several strategic work sessions, DW created the “Light up goodness” campaign which leveraged digital media, print, broadcast, social media and guerilla marketing with instant reporting and pivoting where opportunities were identified. When it was all said and done, the campaign raised record funds that exceeded goals in support of creating new breast cancer remote treatment centers.

“I couldn’t be happier with how the Duft Watterson team came together to create, implement and support the marketing plan.”
