Boise Contemporary Theater
Given the many choices people have for entertainment, it’s no wonder that live events, whether they be sports or theater, are seeing a decline in ticket sales.
Even though Boise Contemporary Theater (BCT) has been a mainstay in our region for more than two decades, they understood the need to ramp up their marketing. So, Duft Watterson created an advertising campaign that used a design theme that fragmented key theatrical moments, or scenes, to create visual intrigue as well as highlight their dramatic importance. We also created typographic and illustration treatments to align with the concept. When it was all said and done, BCT had a new, unified look that better positioned it as a “contemporary” theater, ticket sales increased, and overall interest (aka., memberships) met goals. Which is quite a performance in itself.
